We were about to begin a new campaign where JDI has membership.  I had to tell the marketing folks to not distribute the new polo shirts they had made up.  What do you think?

Wow, man.  I could sit and watch that all day.

Did I ever tell you I once saw a double rainbow in Yosemite?  Whoa!

As we near the final phase of manufacturing the new JDI SolCap lighting line, we've had to tighten up plant security.  (We wouldn't want any of these lights getting out before FDIC in April.)

Here are some of our assembly line workers being checked to make sure no SolCaps are being purloined.

From time to time we like to recognize some of our long-term employees.

Today we visit with Doris Nuenschieder.  Her job is to wind transformers for JDI mass notification sirens.  Her job can be tedious, but Doris never complains except of the shellac stains on her hands.  Away from work, she enjoys performing traditional Slavic folk tunes for her cows.  She says, "Dem cows der like da music, and day make da better cheese wit it."

JDI salutes our employees like Doris, and hope they never live long enough to collect their pensions.

Just a reminder that JDI makes low frequency add-on speakers for your emergency vehicle’s siren.

Don’t spend what those other companies are charging for their product!

Here is the JDI Rowler®.

Rowler I.jpg

With a frequency range from 60 Hz to 400 Hz, we literally blow the competition away.

You say you want a speaker system that both sounds good and looks intimidating?

The JDI Rowler II® is the answer.

Rowler II.jpg

Even if you could possibly miss hearing it, wouldn’t you move over if you saw this mounted to the hood of the vehicle behind you?

JDI, always a little ahead of the pack.

The JDI accounts receivable department has an immediate opening.  Our long-time head of the division, Lillian Rosemyer, has been retired.  Lillian's macular degeneration was not a factor in the decsion to let her go, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.  This photo, taken on her last day with the firm, explains why our profits have been down recently.

Here's Dennis.  We don't know what he does here at JDI, but he looks so funny as he does it we keep him on the payroll.

Many folks think JazzDad International only produces emergency response equipment.  Also, as phenomenally popular as JDI is, some people think that all the products we develop are commercially successful.

A little insight: We occasionally release a less-than-satisfactory item to the marketplace.  (Yes, I know what you're thinking.)  Take, for instance, the smart phone app that we came out with last year through the JDI Biomedical Division.  This program was able to analyse human urine for sugar content, illicit drug use, pregnancy testing, and other parameters.  Available from the Apple App Store, we were able to sell only 1 unit of the iPee app.  Our subsequent research found that folks didn’t like the idea of taking a whiz on their phone.

The JDI manufacturing plant in Mumbai employs a workforce of about 11,000.  The plant is some 17 kilometres outside of the city centre, so we provide a commuter train.

JDI shuttle.jpg

Perhaps we should hire two trains.

We at JDI are very pleased to let you know that we are no longer ISO 9001 certified.  What does this mean to you?  You get the same, high quality merchandise from JazzDad, but at a lower cost.  Less red tape for us means better prices for you.  That’s something to cheer about.

Are you tired of having emergency vehicles where the siren’s sound is only projected to the front?  Would you like to have a full 360 degrees of audible protection?  Well, your wait is over with the new JDI Omni-Si.®

JDI rooftop siren.jpg

Just mount this puppy to the roof of your fire apparatus, squad car or ambulance and you’ll hear the difference… and so will EVERYONE else.  For you naysayers, you can mount a beacon on the top for 360 degree visual warning.  You want still more warning power?  Mount a lightbar fore and aft of your Omni-Si.®. Either way, you’ll be the envy of everyone in your department!

JDI – always a week earlier than the competition!

Our first-shift guard at the main gate in our Hsinchu City plant, Mr. Huángtiān Dàdì.  He has been with JDI for 42 years.  Maybe we should feed him.

I'd like to try out the new JDI motto the advertising department is kicking around.  What do you think?

JDI – The company that listens.  Except when we have something important to say, which is all the time.  During those periods we won’t be listening to you. It’s best that you just shut up at those times.

JazzDad Industries has not only been the leader in the development and manufacturing of emergency services equipment, but also the in training of emergency services personnel.  For years, police have successfully implemented dogs in many aspects of their department’s job activities.  JDI feels it’s time for the fire service to benefit, too.  Our newest initiative is the K-9 Fire Service Unit (K9FSU).  At the JDI Canine Academy, dogs of all breeds and sizes come to learn their role in the integration of dogs to fire duties.  After determining initial aptitude, the dogs immediately begin by learning the fire triangle, all the way through flow calculations, NIMS to MAZMAT, and from technical to swift water rescues.  No longer does “Smokey” just ride on the front of the first truck out as a mascot.  With JDI’s help, he can now be the IC at any sized scene. There has been a tremendous number of requests for more photos of the JDI sites.

Here's one of our call centres:

And the day after the sale:

(Or did I mix up those last two photos?)

Sure, there are many mechanical sirens out there, but the JDI “Si-Rall® beats ‘em all.”™

Installed on the floor of the apparatus cab, on the officer side next to the siren power switch, is what makes the Si-Rall® different.  You see, we install a second switch, which when depressed applies an electro-mechanical brake to the siren.  So, instead of just a wail mode, the JDI Si-Rall® siren can produce yelps, Martins and Stutter tones; it’s just a matter of quickly tapping your feet in alternating patterns.  You will be producing these and new tones in no time at all, because we include an instructional DVD featuring heavy metal drummer Chris DeBuse.  In tests conducted in major cities in the US and Canada, Chris and his amazing feet produced patterns that were able to clear traffic 25% faster than our competitors boring old wails.

Order yours today!  Supplies are limited.  And if you act now, we'll throw in a free throw light for free.

Marjorie Phillips has been employed with JDI for 27 years.  She is the NDT tech in the R&D department.  It's rumoured that her hat was the inspiration for the JDI Model 16 rooftop beacon.

Please join me in thanking all of the JDI employees for their dedication in the face of daily ridicule.
