All the other forums I belong to I use another name in honor of the 1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator I own, but I figure I'd reprise my ebay name here. So my name represents the 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 that I bought in high school.
First pumper I qualified on as engineer (Louisville FD Seargent's exam): HCFD Engine 2, a 1966 Maxim 1,000 GPM triple combination pumper--a what a hot rod it was! The only thing it lacked was power steering, so you had to put a foot on the dash during slow speed turns.
Back when I helped invent the internet, AOL would only allow for 9 letters and numbers in your screen name. So I used my name and the last four of my last name was all that would fit. My name was old enough it didn't even ask for numbers when I took it. I've used the same ID for most items since.
Well, the "trucker" part should be easy enough. The "eskimo" part, well it's like this. I'm originally form Canada. The first time I came to Indiana to visit (my then future) in laws, they all called me "eskimo". That turned into my CB handle, and now everything I do, be it Youtube, facebook, here, email, ect... it's all eskimo and truckign related
My tag is a mix of things...Sparky is from part of my nickname in high school, I was on my local FD at that time. When I started at 911 with the county my dad (arson investigator) had the handle Johnny Flame so Sparky just stuck and I added 911 to it. I use several variations of Sparky_911 (Sparkyz911) all over the net...Ebay, Xbox, YouTube, ELB (duh), SilverasdoSierra, etc.
