Truthfully I have no idea, their cars are usually FedSig specific so usually single Vipers in the rear, a legend, LAWs in headlights/turn signals and tailights so most likely the same. For me, I'm not a fan of the new graphics, they just come off as cheesy. They also have switched their patrol cars from CVPIs to Caprices(they currently have 3 marked units and an unmarked white traffic car).pdk9 said:Besides the legend, what else does it have?
The tahoe is a CITE vehicle. They're specially designed to ride higher and blend in so the trooper can sneak up on cars and then look down into your vehicle to see if you're typing away on your phone on your lap. As far as I know they're not really used for anything other than traffic patrol, and I don't think someone texting is going to notice a license plate or tire rims.pdk9 said:Love the unmarked Tahoes, but I don't think their identity is truly concealed...a low tahoe with black rims arouses suspicion & the special LP is a dead giveaway lol
They're not specially designed....... They are the standard 2wd model Tahoe out in the market and I heard that the state police actually lowers all their 2wd Tahoes a couple inches. They are intended for only Interstate Patrol but ones around here do Non-Interstate patrol for the most part.emt111 said:The tahoe is a CITE vehicle. They have had pushbumpers on their cars for forever. Not all cars have them (as you can see by the Interceptor up more on the page) and I believe the ones that have them the most are cars on the Interstate while cars used for general patrol don't have pushbumpers. The new Interceptors and Chargers have the integrated lightheads into the pushbumper but no side warning.pdk9 said:I'm liking the change in their choice of PBs on the NYSP units...I just wish they'd mount some intersection warning on them now
