I remember that movie. It was the modern take on "Cyrano de Bergerac" and I recall that we watched this in 4th grade after reading the story. It was well done and Steve played the part well. BTW, that Blazer is slick-looking.
Same door emblem like on Buford T. Justice's LeMans. Ha! That's funny
Wouldn't doubt they used it since both movies came out that year. Interesting factoid from the movie, the vehicle used as "the car" was a heavily modified 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark III done by the famous George Barris.
Those Signal Stat/Yankee Cal-Spec versions and the one car with the cans are elusive and spendy if found!
Crushed? Do you realize where you are, man? This is eLightbars and such talk is sacrilege... this is blasphemy... this is, er, something we'd all like to see.
I was watching Iron Resurrection on the Velocity network this last week & saw an Amber & GREEN Whelen 5200 strobe beacon atop an old tow-truck wrecker in a junk yard. Unsure of the junk yard it was in, but hopefully someone on here saw the episode too (it's the episode with the 1947 milk truck being found at the junk yard in the desert).
We used our demo Tahoe to film the "Swat approach" scene for the upcoming movie "Incursion" (aka "Drone"), which stars Sean Bean (yes, the Sean Bean). They even let me drive it. It was a lot of fun, though we spent 4 hours filming for what's sure to be a 5 second clip.
