What Is Your "Holy Grail" Item?

What is the vintage item you are most looking for? The one item you dream of most? The item you would sell a kidney to own? (Are you starting to get the idea? )

My ultimate item is a 1967 era Sireno Projector 75 watt electronic siren. I had one in mint condition in 1985, but as a dumb kid, I traded it for something. Of course, I don't remember what I traded it for.

My second is also Sireno. A "wobble" beacon, where one light wiggles as the beacon rotates. If only Marcson would share that damn alarm code................projector.jpg[/attachment:2gzapcmg]

Smith & Wesson Magnum electronic sirens. I have a Magnum IVb, but I'd also like one of each of the other models:

Magnum IV

Magnum III

Magnum IIIb

Magnum 500

Magnum 500b

Also looking for a Dominion Auto Siren Master electronic siren (looks identical to North American Signal Siren Master).

For a long time I looked/wanted a Unity RV-26 with a RED Spitfire Dome. I considered it a had to find item, at least 1 in good condition that I didn't have to pay through the nose or other body openings for.

I finally found this 1, NEW OLD STOCK!, and didn't have to sell of any body parts for it!

I know others would think that its not that rare, but for me to find one in this condition, was a real find!

Hey 72copriv, I have that same bar that I am in the process of restoring for a friend of mine... are the 'alley lights' stamped Unity also? The one I have has two old spotlight heads with flood bulbs in them... Now I just need to find an RV-25 with a solid red dome... (motor and housing on his is destroyed) :D

Try this contact here for the RV-25 you're looking for. Last time I was there, Mike still had it.

The alley lights shown in my pictures were some old square fog lights off another car, as I did not have any alley lights on it when purchased from Dakota Guns and Lawman. He later set me up with "close to" the correct round Unity alley lights I now have on the car/bar. 1 of them has the Unity logo on top, one does not. Good luck and let me see pics when you get it finished. Search YOUTUBE for 1972 Buick Riviera Cop Car for a little video of them in action.

How about a Galls (Whelen 4800OSC) Oscitalor Lightbar. Wish/want it had the TA (have the mounts and lens somewhere but, no housing) on the rear! Its in AWSOME condition! Was going to use it but now it found a its place on my wall in the garage! Stay safe and enjoy!

It may take me a little bit to afford one, but I wouldnt mind adding a twinsonic (any model number and dome color) to my collection.

Having a limited income.........prevents it though, but I will have one.

wouldnt mind adding a new aerodynic to it either.......but income prevents it.

My personal Holy Grail were:

-LAPD style AeroDynic 24EAH

-NYPD AeroTwinsonic

- J-CAL Jetsonic

-AeroDynic 25

-AeroDynic 24CA

I got them over 3 years of searching.

Anything Select-Alert would be my new ones...

I'm going to have to say mine is my 1979 Chrysler Newport Virginia State Police that I'm restoring.

OOOOhhhhhh!!! That should be nice. I very much miss my '79 Dodge St. Regis ex-ATF car. (almost the same car)

Check out Phil's Rhode Island state police Chrysler Newport on copcar.com

My "Holy Grail" is that stupid white Signal Stat siren speaker with the ribs on the back so that I can finish my 1970's NYPD bar.

one of the Sabine River, Louisiana patrol cars from "Sugarland Express"

I like the Sabine River tanks too. It's too bad they didn't have the light bars on when they were driving down the highway.

But speaking of that, what would be harder to find - a Mars Aurora Borealis light bar or 1971-1972 Ford sedan or hardtop in restorable condition?
