Exactly what unlisted said... add more lights? Or why not just use a panel mount LED like this in front of each of the switches (or wire it up with diodes to all of the switches if you just wanted a single LED). Or go wild and put it in the instrument cluster...

Very cool idea! I almost wonder if wireless for the light control part and still hardwiring the vehicle isn't the way to go.... use a digital controller, like what you have, so no individual wires are needed to trigger the various functions but continue to hardwire just 12v. Everyone knocks...

I mean the factory tint... i have the identical vehicle also with a cobra 800... the factory tint is enough to do some damage on a cobra 800... you really need to get something brighter behind the glass and on the running boards because no matter how bright a light you stick in the hatch it will...

I'm not 100% sure but 95% sure there were no design changes that would affect either of your partitions. Changes between 10 and 14 were extremely minimal on the interiors. Most likely they were just an older batch and no design change was needed or mfg hasn't updated their packaging /...

No. Ions have 4 wires. Hot ground pattern sync. They don't dim. Unless you have some strange variation that I don't know about.

Cobra 800s cannot be synced (without an external flasher). That's what I have in my Tahoe.

He keeps saying thick but he means depth... they are .75" high and something like 3" DEEP... under a running board that wouldn't be an issue as the runningboard is way wider than that but it likely wouldn't fit under the tailgate due to depth.

+1 on proper pants... the pockets aren't the best of layouts but the pants are WAY higher quality than 5.11... Honestly I've never been really impressed with 5.11... it has a great tacticool factor but none of it is very high quality...
