    Soundoff CVP

Still haven't figured out the date code. The light bar is a 40" SoundOff Signal 2x. From what I was finally able to find on the SoundOff Site it appears the 3 wire and 4 wire black top versions are out of production. Three wire appears to be Red (power) Black (Ground) and Yellow (pattern). 4...

    Soundoff CVP

I'm looking at a Soundoff CVP 40" bar in amber as an option. It is the bar and mounting feet only. So, looking at the cable, which has been cut short, it appears to only have 3 wires. What controller would be needed and what type of functions should it include? Number at top of the...

    Interior light mount

I am going to be mounting lights on a compact SUV/Crossover. I am looking at doing an interior mounted arrowstick which, with the way the vehicle is designed, will be best mounted on the lift gate to avoid being in the way of the cargo area. What I am wondering, is there a mount available that...

    Wanted Federal Signal Vista parts

Thanks for the advise. I was considering doing that if I couldn't find the actual reflectors. I have a few spares of for the halogen reflectors. Main thing I need are the filters for the rotators.

    First project bar

Domes were my biggest concer. I salvaged the bar out of the bed of a pick up which had been sitting outside for a couple years. They bed was partly filled with water and the bar left upside down on a tilt. As for the intersection lights, I am going to see about either colored bulbs or may...

    First project bar

So, I know it's been a while since I have posted anything. I had to postpone working on the Vista light bar for a while. I have been spending a few minutes each day working on the upper domes for starters. A good wash in Ivory soap and warm water has removed the vast majority of the crud and...

    First project bar

Ok.  So I recently rescued a Federal Signal Vista Halogen bar from a neighbor of mine.  It was found upside down in the back of a truck that had been stored outside and was full of water.  Currently it has all clear domes, red filters on all 4 rotators, 4 lower lamps with amber filters, 4 lower...
