2016-2019 Explorer Front Bumper Removal Tips

A flex-head ratcheting wrench is the best tool I've found to remove what I affectionately call the "Mother Trucker" bolts.

2010 Camaro + SoundOff Pinnacle Two Piece Interior Lightbar?

There is ZERO room behind the mirror in this car. I don't know if it's like that on all Camaro's but this one had a console for the sunroof.

Lets see pictures of custom lights/lightbars [CLOSED]

I have been off of the board for a while, but I did manage to finish this project over a year ago. The "first" final version had 6 solaris modules to the rear and one to each side. For those who live by "amber to the rear" rule, I am no longer subscribing to this theory. Two of my rear solaris...

2010 Camaro + SoundOff Pinnacle Two Piece Interior Lightbar?

Our department recently acquired a 2010 Chevy camaro. Now I'm trying to upfit it. Does anyone know if a SoundOff Pinnacle Two Piece Interior Lightbar will fit in the 2010 camaro? Slick top configuration is a must since this car has a sunroof. If not this, any other good suggestions for interior...

C2Installs: 2012 Dodge Charger Police *VIDEOS ADDED*

Excellent work! We just got our first charger, and I'm getting ready to start on it next week. Are there any problems with side air bags and lightbar mounting? Any concerns on where to run the lightbar wiring? Thanks for some great info already.

Well my POV is Toast! Time for a new one! Install ideas!

In his defense, he is putting money into a 1996 Impala. NOT the same car. Nothing even close. Those 94-96 caprice/impala's were some bad @$$ cars! And look at my post above, I am no longer a chevy fan.

Well my POV is Toast! Time for a new one! Install ideas!

I had a 2001 Impala. Total heap of junk. I was always a chevy man until owning that car. Now I will never own another GM product. The final straw was when the wrecker was DRAGGING the car out of my garage because it would not start, nor would it come out of park. At work right now, guys driving...

    Antenna help

When you say high band, are you referring to VHF High band? If so, the splice method suggested here will be fine. If you are talking 800mhz, then it will NOT be fine. The PL-259 connectors are only good up to about 500 mhz.

    Whelen Edge LoPro Speaker

If you have no desire to hear the radio, other passengers, or 5 years later anything at all, then get one. Otherwise, find something else. I had one at my last agency, and had it removed in less than a week. It was shocking to me how loud it was inside the vehicle.

ge ericsson m/a com edacs units?

EDACS was GE's bread and butter trunking system. It's been around for years. I know several agencies in Alabama who use them. I'm sure you'll find them in use nationwide.

    Custom JetLED. Flasher or no?

Made them myself using angle aluminum I bought at Lowes. Took about 20 minutes with a hacksaw and a drill for all 4.

    Custom JetLED. Flasher or no?

As of now, the center rotator has a blue filter to the rear. I really hate clear to the rear. As far as future plans, I would like to convert the rear to LED's also. I'm debating on whether or not to go all LED, or leave 4 strobes, and add two more 700 series (cheaper). I would leave two strobes...

John suggested a meteor traffic clearer. May have to look into that, but I would rather get the back of the bar finished first.

    Custom JetLED. Flasher or no?

I have just finished half of my custom Jet bar. It has two Whelen 700 series, and 2 Tomar RECT34. The takedowns are wired to flash or steady burn. Right now, all of the lightheads flash independant. Should I leave it as is, or install a flasher to sync the heads?
