Yes its a 03 gmc duramax diesel. Factory back up lamp fuse is 10-15 amps I believe and the auxs lights are led. I forget the lumens.

I did it in a old truck I used to have. Worked great. We have a suburban at our station that has haws in that exact spot. Just remember when drilling let the bit do the work. Don't push to hard as you could damage the lens.

Pretty sure its a piss poor tint job. Could be wrong though.

The bare smaller gauge wire goes to ground. Its the "drain" wire. It helps with radio static for mobile radios and your car stereo, because strobe supplies are such high frequency it can cause havoc on radios. Fixed it for ya.
