    Whelen Interleaved fog lights

I have a set on my Tahoe. The warning is excellent, the driving half is OK/good. They work well in a dark area. I'm always concerened about blinding someone so I never leave them on very long when driving.

What is your favorite Soundoff Signal Product?

Ghost as an end-user. I've been running these for several years now and still look great. nErgy 400 series Siren/light controllers from an installer perspective. I like how everything is modular and easier to connect than some.

    2014 Charger Wiring

I was annoyed at all the changes, too. Kinda like all the wires in the main power connector labeled 'ground' in the manual but now go to the grille/engine compartment instead. The book is old.

    Console or pedestal computer mount?

I really like my Troy console-mounted laptop mount. Mounting Options It's very solid (and it is mounted to a Troy tahoe console). The Troy consoles seem thicker and heavier than most, to me. I particularly like the way it handles movement both in rotation as well as extending.

    Kenwood tk-3360

Seems fairly reasonable IF programming fees are in line with what is being charged in the area and the dealer gives good/great service. That's a little below retail before the discounting. We see a lot of radio dealers selling not far above cost, but they rake the departments over the coals...

    Kenwood TK-760H Installation Question

I've never seen a DIN sleeve for one of those radios, but you might check with a good car audio shop. The 760H will not do 12.5KHz narrow band, so be aware of that. The 760HG will do that. IIRC, the 760H is also just a numeric channel display, not alpha numeric. I've never actually tried...

    SS3000 programming ?

If they told you a crossover cable, then that makes sense. An Ethernet crossover cable swaps the TX and RX pins between the 2 ends so two network devices can talk directly. IIRC, the SSP3000 makes you setup a specific IP address on the network card of your computer then plug directly into the...

    Best BDU-type pants for LEO's

    Glock 23 as duty weapon.

I've carried a G23 on duty for the last 9 years up until about 6 months ago. It's now just my truck gun (but still my favorite). The 3rd generation G23 was a lot more comfortable to me than the G3 22. I was a better shot with it. Since then I've bought a Gen4 G22. I'm not sure how much I...

Why are white LAWs frowned upon for rear ?

Depending on the colors you run, I really like doing a set of red LAWs in the the taillights and a set of blue in the reverse housings. This gives you an easy way to alternate red/blue.

    Pro copper console

One challenge is finding screws/bolts that are long enough but not too long. We had some radio/siren deaths with the pro-copper from people who didn't know to watch out for this. They would get some really long screws and screw them right into the radio or siren board. Poof and out comes the...

Need some opinions on some grille light options...

I'm only a fan of certain LED HAWs in the DRL spot. I like the C3 9-led HideABlast there (stealing from Cajunblitz on this one). I have gotten several compliments on the DRL-placed C3s. FedSig IPX630 R/B(andW) in the grille
